back to basics // The Pleasure Rooms Years // 1994-97 - Ralph Lawson Tracklist
Ralph Lawson digs into the archives for a nearly three-hour tribute to Back to Basics during its legendary run at Leeds' Pleasure Rooms between 1994 and 1997. The mix captures the sweat and energy of mid-90s UK clubbing, blending raw Chicago house, deep Detroit techno, and seminal European releases. It features defining tracks from labels like Strictly Rhythm, Cajual, and Prescription that shaped one of the north of England's most infamous dancefloors.
