Tuff City Kids
Frankfurt duo of Gerd Janson and Phillip Lauer, both longtime residents at Robert Johnson in Offenbach. Tuff City Kids started in 2009 as a hardware-based remix project, reworking tracks by Azari & III among others, before moving on to original house records with disco and techno edges. Their debut album, Adoldesscent, came out on Permanent Vacation in 2016 with vocals from Annie and Joe Goddard. Janson also runs the Running Back label, which released the duo's R-Zone EP.
