Robert Babicz
Started out in the early-90s Cologne acid house scene as Rob Acid, whose 1993 single Happy Answer turned into an unexpected club hit. Robert Babicz plays live with synths and hardware rather than DJing, improvising each set, and he works as a mastering engineer on his own records as well as other artists' releases. Dark Flower, particularly the Joris Voorn remix, is still the track he's best known for, and newer material lands on Traum Schallplatten and on Babiczstyle, the label he set up to release his own music and his friends'.
