Richard Akingbehin

Based in Berlin, British-Nigerian DJ and curator Richard Akingbehin is the co-founder of the community radio station Refuge Worldwide. He also runs Kynant Records, a label focusing on deep techno, ambient, and dub-influenced music that has released works by Donato Dozzy, VRIL, and Paul St. Hilaire. His DJ sets draw heavily from Jamaican and UK sound system culture, mixing house and techno with deep, bass-heavy dub effects. On set79, his recorded performances include club sets at Blitz and Post Bar, alongside broadcasts from The Lot Radio.
