Brazilian DJ and producer Maz is a central figure in the global Afro house scene, known for blending traditional Brazilian percussion and Portuguese vocals with deep club grooves. In 2020, he co-founded the record label Dawn Patrol Records alongside fellow producer Antdot, using the platform to release indigenous-influenced tracks like his Beatport chart-topper "Amana". His breakout remix of Luedji Luna's "Banho de Folhas" became one of the best-selling Afro house tracks on Beatport between 2022 and 2023.
