Magda

Based in Berlin and deeply connected to the Detroit techno scene, Magda is a DJ and producer whose sound is rooted in minimal techno, off-kilter house, and obscure disco. She rose to prominence as a key member of Richie Hawtin’s Minus collective and frequently toured as his opening DJ. In 2006, she co-founded the Items & Things record label alongside Troy Pierce and Marc Houle to champion experimental and unconventional electronic music. Her landmark 2006 mix album *She's A Dancing Machine* and her 2010 debut artist album *From The Fallen Page* established her as a major force in the minimal movement.
