Kevin Saunderson
One of the Belleville Three alongside Juan Atkins and Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson is the one who pushed Detroit techno onto pop radio, via Inner City with vocalist Paris Grey and their singles Good Life and Big Fun. He founded KMS Records in 1985 and still uses it for his harder, machine-driven material as E-Dancer. His 1988 Reese track Just Another Chance carried the distorted bassline that jungle and drum and bass producers have been rebuilding ever since.
