A resident at Le Pulp in Paris alongside Chloé and Ivan Smagghe, Jennifer Cardini came up playing electro, dark disco and leftfield house rather than straight techno. She became the first woman signed to Kompakt when the Cologne label put out her Feeling Strange mix in 2008, and she has run her own label, Correspondant, since 2011.
