Batu
Bristol producer and DJ who founded Timedance in 2015 and still runs it, a decade on, with records from Ploy, Hodge and Verraco. Batu's own material sits between techno and UK bass, often slower and sparser than its peers, with rhythms pulled from dubstep and garage rather than a straight four-four. He released the EP Rebuilt on XL in 2018 and his debut album Opal in 2022, and has done production work for FKA twigs.
