Barnt

Cologne-based DJ and producer who co-founded the Magazine label with Jens-Uwe Beyer and Crato. Barnt's 2012 single Geffen, released on Cómeme, is the one people know him for, and it later ended up soundtracking a Karl Lagerfeld runway show. He's also released on Hivern Discs and Kompakt, working a melodic, off-kilter strain of techno that leans psychedelic rather than purely functional.
